ONLINE INFORMATION WARNING:
The Internet is a fabulous tool for gathering information. But what the Internet can NEVER do is interpret it.
Please use online property search tools with care: relying on property data alone, without the context that a professional can provide, will usually lead to incorrect and expensive mistakes. And, making decisions regarding the purchase or sale of your largest asset with online information alone can often lead to disastrous results. |

Take A Look At All The Towns That We Cover!
For Demographics...Public and Private School Scores...Houses of Worship
...and so much more...just CLICK a Town on the Map.
As The Home Consultants, we pride ourselves on
being "totally objective".
But when it comes to comparing the surrounding suburbs of
Greater Boston, please forgive us if we have
a bit of a bias for MetroWest.
Though Greater Boston boasts many wonderful areas, we kind of think that...The West Is Best.
The Home Consultants Team
|
If you're looking for expertise in ALL of MetroWest, look no further than our team. Unlike most agents who cover only one or two towns, our team is regional. This means that you don't have to go on ten different web sites or call ten different agents - if you're looking anywhere west of Boston, we probably cover it.
But if by chance you're interested in a town that is not on the map below, email the team and let us know. If we don't cover it, we'll find someone good who does!
And don't forget, if someone you care about is looking to buy or sell a home anywhere in the U.S., remember that friends don't let friends go it alone - just give a call and we'll make sure that they're in great hands - we network with the best.

METROWEST TOWN VALUES PROFILE
Twice a year, we compile a Towns Value Profile. This grid shows what homes are selling for in the
35 Metrowest towns that our team primarily services. And they are available for immediate download!

SCHOOLS
There is no better barometer for judging a community than it's public schools. Even if you don't have or plan to have school age children (or plan to send them to private school) the public school system greatly affects the property values of a city or town.
So how good IS a school system in the community you're looking at? How do you judge? Communities vary greatly in size and scope. Are you comparing apples and oranges? How do you separate fact from rumor?
Don't fret - you have friends in the business. Our team has made it our business to gather factual information. Especially if you have children, the first thing we need to do is to sit down together and talk about what's important to you.
Small classes...high SAT's...does your child have special needs...do you need special academic programs...extracurricular activities?
We subscribe to eNeighborhoods. This software provides comprehensive information on both public and private schools (as well as a wealth of other demographic data) for any city or town in the U.S. You're welcome to take a look online, or even better, let us know what towns you need information about. One truth that is rarely understood when it comes to real estate: the internet is fabulous for finding information. But what it can never do is interpret what it all means. But we can!
As parents, we want to provide our clients with the same information as we would want in order to make good decisions. And we're right here to sift through all the conflicting data out there and help you make the best choices for your family.
COLLEGES
|
Boston may be known as a mecca for colleges, but
MetroWest has its own institutes of higher learning. And while students flock to the
campuses, each school has plenty to offer the general public: museums and lecture series,
recitals, and continuing education courses. |

CELEBRATIONS
Don't worry about where you pay your property
taxes, there are no gates or guards preventing entry into another town. Below are just
some of the biggest annual events in the MetroWest area:
Boston Marathon When: April (617) 236-1652

GOOD STUFF TO KNOW IN MASSACHUSETTS
You don't want to be stuck at a
party with nothing to say, do you?
The parking limit at non-metered spots is two
hours, whether posted or not. You will get a ticket after two hours and a boot after five
tickets.
Stymied by those circles in the middle of major
streets? They're called rotaries. Simple rule for survival: Those in the rotary have the
right of way. Those entering must yield.
THE REASON AND RHYME FOR THE LIGHT ON TOP OF THE
BERKELEY BUILDING NEXT TO THE JOHN HANCOCK TOWER: Steady blue-clear view, Flashing
blue-clouds are due, Steady red-rain ahead, Flashing red-snow instead. (In the summer,
flashing red means the Red Sox game is cancelled).
Interstate 95 and Route 128 are the same roads, but
around Braintree you can be on 128S and 93N at the same time, yet be going neither south
nor north, but in reality, east. Don't ask. Just drive.
Boston Garden is (was) not a garden and Back Bay is
not a bay, although the latter was at one time.
Streets in the Back Bay are alphabetical going from
Arlington to Hereford.
